Our Classrooms

In line with The Rainbow Project’s philosophy, our classrooms are hosted in mainstream Hong Kong International Schools: promoting acceptance and understanding in our mainstream peers while offering opportunities for interaction and education in a typical school environment for Rainbow children.  Classes are small – with a maximum of seven students per class – and staffed with well-qualified and experienced special needs teachers.

At present The Rainbow Project has two classes: an early intervention class situated in Rainbow Project Learning Centre at Sai Ying Pun and a Primary class hosted by Hong Kong Academy Primary School on Hong Kong Island.  Of course the character of our classrooms varies according to the needs and ages of the children they serve, but they share a mutual core.  Namely a common curriculum, methodologies and team approach.
